Pasta with asparagus and sausage

The recipes with asparagus that you can prepare are many. A pasta with asparagus and sausage is one of these and it will surely conquer even the most demanding guests.

This dish can also be made adding crispy bacon or speck. If, instead, you want to give a note of creaminess to the preparation, add the cream.

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 300 g asparagus
  • 200 g sausage
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Deprive the asparagus of the thickest and most coriaceous part of the stem and then peeled externally. Then reduce them into washers and put aside.

Then take the sausage, cut into pieces and add into the pan along with a clove of garlic and extra virgin olive oil. Let cook for a few minutes, possibly sprinkling with white wine if you want to give a note of flavor even more pronounced to your dish.

Add the asparagus, which you can boil for ten minutes in salted water in order to facilitate cooking. Season with salt and pepper and let the sauce continue cooking for about ten minutes.

Meanwhile, drain the pasta when it is still al dente because it will end its cooking in the pan with the seasoning. Serve to your guests

This dish will be excellent if consumed very hot immediately after its preparation.

You can make the dish even more interesting by adding to the asparagus and sausage also the champignon mushrooms. They must be washed carefully, reduced into slices and then added to the sausage and asparagus pan.
