Ham and Cream Pasta is a first course very quick to prepare but extremely tasty, perfect for those who have little time but do not want to give up original and special recipes to serve their guests even on special occasions.
The dressing is done without cooking, so it is very fast. You do not have to wait for the preparation time of the pasta to prepare this really incredible first.
- 400 g of pasta (spaghetti)
- 250 g of cooked ham
- ½ cup Philadelphia
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Parmigiano Reggiano to taste
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Put a pot with plenty of salted water to boil. Add spaghetti only when the water has reached the boiling point.
In the meantime, prepare the dressing, which as we said previously does not need cooking and therefore will be very fast and simple to make. Take a mixer and add the ham into small cubes inside.
Add also the Philadelphia, the tablespoons of milk and the Parmesan and blend everything for a few seconds until you have obtained a well-balanced cream.
Keep the ham cream thus obtained temporarily aside until the pasta is al dente. Drain the pasta and add it to a non-stick pan. Add the ham cream and a couple of tablespoons of pasta cooking water.
Serve hot to your guests, with minced parsley if you like it.
Adjust also with some black pepper to give an extra tone of color to your plate. For a more substantial flavor, add whole prosciutto strips.
Eat the Ham and Cream Pasta hot immediately after the preparation to better appreciate it.
