The Baked breaded swordfish is a very simple recipe to prepare for a normal family dinner but it is ideal to become also a dish for a more important event.
An easy recipe that can be enriched in many ways, making this dish even more delicious and greedy. The breaded swordfish can be a very appetizing dish even for the little ones.
- 2 slices of swordfish
- Stale bread
- A teaspoon of Parmesan cheese
- A teaspoon of chopped parsley
- A clove of garlic
- Extra virgin olive oil, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Take the swordfish and pass it in plenty of extra virgin olive oil on both sides and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Meanwhile, add the Parmesan cheese, the parsley, which you have previously minced very finely, salt and pepper to the breadcrumbs. A good addition could be pistachios.
Take the swordfish, drain the excess oil and put in the breadcrumbs. This step must be done accurately. In this way, your slices will be covered with breading to perfection.
Take the slices and transfer them on a baking sheet, previously covered with baking paper. Now add a little oil and an unpeeled clove of garlic.
When you have added everything, bake it in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes. Obviously, the cooking time can vary depending on the thickness of the slices you have chosen, increasing or decreasing. Usually, for medium-thick slices, 25 minutes should be sufficient. You will notice, however, that the bread will become golden when the dish is ready to be baked.
Serve hot accompanied with fresh lemon juice, for those who like it.
Store the baked breaded swordfish for one day at most in the refrigerator. It is, however, recommended to consume it hot and freshly cooked to taste it best and to ensure that the bread does not lose its crunchiness.
