A chocolate cake is always a good idea. Children love it and even grown-ups can resist.
That’s why a slice of chocolate cake will be very appreciated as a dessert or during the day. Adding some chocolate frosting you’ll make a simple chocolate cake an incredible dessert.

- 3 eggs
- 2 and 1/2 cups 00 flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 and 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 cup boiling water
For the frosting
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
First of all, preheat oven to 355°F. Then grease and flour a pan.
All you need now is a large bowl where you will add one by one all the ingredients. Star stirring together sugar, cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda and then add oil, milk, eggs and vanilla extract.
Mix for 2-3 minutes until you get a creamy mixture. Stir in the boiling water and keep mixing. Pour the mixture into the pan.
Bake for about 35 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes and then cut it.
Meanwhile, start making the chocolate frosting. Whip butter and cocoa until smooth and stir in powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Whip until you get the desired consistency.
Add the chocolate frosting on the chocolate cake and use it to decorate the surface as you prefer.
Cool for 1 hour and serve it to your guests.
Store the one-bowl chocolate cake for up to 3 days.
Add some sprinkles on the surface to decorate it. If you want, add some nut or coconut.
