- 1/2 cup hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 80 g dark chocolate
- ½ cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
Prepare the hazelnut paste with a mixer.
Add whole hazelnuts, brown sugar, and granulated sugar and blend for a few minutes to get a cream.
In a saucepan put the milk, the chocolate into pieces and the butter. Melt and add the hazelnut paste that you have previously prepared.
Simmer for about 5-6 minutes. Adjust the cooking time according to how much you want to make your cream thick.
Stir constantly to prevent the mixture from sticking to the edges and bottom, ruining the final taste of your homemade Nutella.
