Let’s see how to prepare excellent puff pastry roses with ham and provola cheese.
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 150 g Provola cheese
- 200 g ham
Place the puff pastry on the work surface and then form six strips making cuts using a sharp knife or a smooth-edged wheel.
Space the strips and place on their surface slices of ham and cheese.
It is important that the ham comes out of the strips of puff pastry. You will get a much more defined final result.
Fold the lower part of the pastry so as to perfectly stop ham and cheese. At this point, simply roll up your strip of puff pastry.
Stop the ends of the puff pastry in order to seal it well. Your puff pastry rose with ham and provola cheese is ready.
Continue with the other strips at your disposal and arrange the roses in a muffin mold.
Pastry roses are now ready to be placed in preheated oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes. Serve them when they are still warm to appreciate the filling.
Pastry roses with ham and provola cheese can be stored for a couple of days in an airtight container or covered with transparent film.
Substitute the puff pastry with the pasta brisée or fill the roses in a different way. Add parmesan cheese for a more intense flavor.
