- 1 roll of pizza dough
- 150 g mozzarella cheese
- tomato sauce
- oregano to taste
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp milk
- poppy seeds to taste
Begin from the preparation of the filling of your croissants.
First of all, take the mozzarella, reduce it into cubes and place them in a mixer with some tomato sauce and oregano. You have to obtain a very dense and compact result.
Take now the pizza dough and make 6 triangles. Divide first the dough into three rectangles and then make two triangles from each side with a diagonal cut.
Arrange a generous spoonful of the seasoning prepared before on the wider part of the triangle. Now you just have to roll them up.
Make sure that the filling remains in the lower part of your croissants so that they will not open while baking.
