The crispy cheese sticks are an excellent snack to serve in a buffet of appetizers or to accompany an aperitif.
In fact, it is a very delicious and particular preparation, perfect for cheese lovers and more. An appetizer that is prepared very quickly since it does not need preparation steps and also cooking will be very fast since it will take place in hot oil for a few minutes per side.
The possible variations to prepare the sticks of cheese always different are so many since you can use the type of cheese that you prefer depending on the situations, tastes and menu that you are going to make.
- 300 g cheese
- 2 eggs
- 00 flour to taste
- breadcrumbs to taste
- salt to taste
Reduce the cheese into small sticks. Choose the size according to the size of the cheese sticks you want to create.
Once all the cheese sticks have been made, prepare the breading. This is really a very simple operation but to which we must pay attention to have a perfect result and avoid spills during cooking.
First of all, pass the cheese sticks in the 00 flour, then in the egg beaten with a pinch of salt and then in the breadcrumbs. Repeat these last two operations one more time so as to have a thicker and consequently crispy breading and avoid, above all, cheese spills during cooking.
Now that the sticks of cheese have been perfectly breaded, cook them in plenty of hot seed oil. When the oil is hot, add the cheese sticks.
After a few minutes turn the cheese sticks so as to allow a perfect and homogeneous browning of the whole surface. Once well browned, remove the cheese sticks from the oil; place them on a dish covered with absorbent paper so that they lose excess oil and subsequently serve when they are still warm to appreciate the streamlined filling. Season with salt and serve to your guests.
Store the crispy cheese sticks for one day at most. The ideal, however, is to consume them hot after their preparation to be able to appreciate them at best.
