  • 1 french bread stick
  • 200 g Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup béchamel sauce

Start with the preparation of the béchamel, if you intend to prepare it with your own hands. If you buy it, go directly to the composition of the Croque baguette.

First, however, grate the Swiss cheese. Take your baguette and cut it in half. Eliminate the central crumb so as to create two basins to add the filling. First, in fact, pour the béchamel sauce, then the Swiss cheese and finish with the wurstel cut into slices, and the tomato, deprived of the internal seeds so that they do not release too much juice,  and the pepper, also in cubes.

Once added these ingredients, put the baguettes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and then put in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 6 minutes with grill function. Serve it warm to your guests.

The Croque baguette is excellent to be consumed immediately, when it is still hot. Keep it for at most one day but heat again in the oven before serving.
